Every year, an estimated 13,000 youth in Minnesota experience homelessness over a year. It may be for a day, a week, a month, or longer. I met a young man at a local store, and I was telling him about Hope 4 Youth. He shared that he was homeless for three months after his Dad passed away during his senior year of high school. He had no other family around and could not afford the rent. This type of student has nowhere to go and no resources.
